My professional career began in traditional creative and communications roles. For many years, I worked in marketing, design and creative concept development, gaining extensive experience in tourism, corporate communications and visual design.
A few years ago, as a freelance creative, I noticed that clients were increasingly convinced that some creative work could be done by AI. This particularly affected texts for magazines, websites and newsletters, but also photography and illustration. This change presented me with challenges, but also opened up new perspectives. I began to discover the potential of the symbiosis between humans and machines.
Today, my work focuses on the ‘extended creative mind’: an expanded creative system in which humans and artificial intelligence develop new forms of thinking, perception and design in a creative dialogue. I explore how this creative dialogue succeeds and how humans can act creatively, reflectively and responsibly in interaction with AI. To this end, I develop practical methods that I test in research, art and teaching.
I see hybrid creativity as a key skill for the digital age and the next step in the evolution of creativity and critical thinking. My artistic and scientific practice creates spaces for innovative, aesthetic, and sensory dialogues between humans and AI, providing inspiration for society, art, and education.
With my experience in marketing, design and artistic research, I combine strategic thinking with a love of artistic experimentation. My goal is not only to teach future skills, but to bring them to life. So that people in the age of AI can strengthen their creative abilities and remain visible as creative beings.
